It was a club debut for Tyrone Roberts and Zeb Taia which coincidentally was against their former club, Newcastle.

On a very wet night at Cbus Super Stadium in front of 8,313 the Titans started their season in convincing fashion, 30-12.

Standout performers on the night included Anthony Don who bagged a double and also John Olive who scored on NRL and Titans debut.
