Aquis Gold Coast Titans forward Jarrod Wallace has tonight been successful at the NRL judiciary, meaning he is free to debut for Queensland in Game 2 of the State of Origin series.

Wallace was charged with a Grade 1 shoulder charge offence, an incident that occurred in the 40th minute on Warriors centre, Blake Ayshford.

“It’s a huge relief,” Wallace said. “For as long as I’ve remembered I’ve wanted to play for Queensland and to now have that opportunity, it’s something I’ll cherish forever.

“I didn’t mean any harm with the contact and I’m glad the panel saw that this evening. I apologised at the time to Blake and there was certainly no intent there, it was just a collision.

“I’m happy with the result this evening and am pleased that I can go back into camp and start preparations with the group.”
