Centre Dale Copley has admitted that whilst the side on paper looks vastly different to the one most members and fans see each week, there are still 17 guys that will be up for the challenge against the Rabbitohs on Friday night at ANZ Stadium.

Coach Neil Henry has been forced to make a number of changes with three State of Origin representatives, plus Kane Elgey and Karl Lawton who have joined the injured list. Chris McQueen is probably the most intriguing selection, with the usual back rower shifting to five-eighth for the encounter.

“It’s obviously a bit different to Elgey playing there,” Copley said. “He plays a different style of game so we’ll have to look at that.

“He’ll be a bigger body out wide in defence so that will help.”

The Titans’ lose over 400 games in experience on Friday night but do gain over 180 games experience in Kevin Proctor. Proctor returns to the side after serving his four-game club suspension.

“With Kev you get a lot of experience back in the fold. When you lose a lot, it’s always valuable to have someone of his calibre back.

“Kiwis prove very valuable at this time of year as clubs lose a lot of players to Origin.”
