Coach Neil Henry has this morning indicated that due to a number of injuries, the make-up of his side to face the Wests Tigers tomorrow night in Sydney is far from settled.

A number of players are still under an injury cloud whilst the club had Jarryd Hayne, Nathan Peats and Jarrod Wallace all take part in the State of Origin match last night.

“We had a bit of a down week, a lighter week,” Henry said. “We had a few injuries come out of the match last week and add in the Origin guys, we were down a few numbers.

“We’re not really clear on the make-up of the side as yet but we’ll assess those Origin guys in Sydney and then make a call. We’ll travel with 17, plus those three guys, so we’ll have 20 ready to go.”

New recruit Jamal Fogarty has only been with the club for the week but Henry couldn’t really shed any light on whether he would be part of the side tomorrow evening.

“You could see him. Obviously Ty (Tyrone Roberts) is recovering from a shoulder injury and we’ll need to see how Jarryd (Hayne) is and we can then see if he can take his place at the back.”

Backing up from an Origin fixture is always difficult but when the Coach was pushed on how the NSW representatives would respond after a loss, he believed they would come in hungrier.

“No doubt they would be down a little from the result but they’d certainly want to take a positive from the week.”
