The Titans’ side have had two hard fought victories against the Tigers and Dragons but will this Saturday night face the second-placed Sharks at Cbus Super Stadium.

“We’re confident after the last couple of weeks and we got the Sharks earlier in the year,” Proctor said. “They’re flying at the moment as well and had a good win against the Roosters in their last match.

“We’ll have a look at their last few matches because I’m sure they’ve changed things up a little bit since last time we played them.”

Whilst the bye may have come at a bad time in regards to momentum, Proctor believes a number of players would have benefited from the extra days off.

“We feel refreshed. I’ve obviously had a bit of time off previously but the others are all ready to go.

“It’s good to have a bye late in the year, it’s a long season mentally so a rest is always good.”

A player who didn’t get much rest over the weekend was halfback Ash Taylor who spent some time with the Queensland Maroons side, with Proctor feeling the Toowoomba product will come back to training with a fair amount of confidence.

“I haven’t seen him but he’s come back today and after training with some of the best players in the world, I’m sure he’ll be feeling good.”
