After three wins in a row the confidence is high around Titans HQ and centre Konrad Hurrell is happy that it is all coming together.
With a perfect past month that saw the club have victories over the Tigers, Dragons and Sharks, the Titans are riding the wave as we commence the run home to the finals.
“It’s been good,” Hurrell said. “It’s been great to play together and to have some consistency in the side.”
Halfback Ash Taylor produced a man-of-the-match performance on Saturday night and Hurrell is definitely happy that the Toowoomba junior is on his side.
“He’s a young superstar, he’s still learning about how much he can bring to the team but he brought a lot of energy with his running and kicking game.
“It’s all working at the moment and we’ve won our last three.
“I’m enjoying it at the moment. I get to run around outside Ash and KP (Kevin Proctor), so I just look for an offload and feed off them.”
Aside from the victory, the weather was definitely the main talking point out of the weekend but Hurrell said he was used to similar conditions back in New Zealand.
“I’m used to it, it’s similar to back in New Zealand. I was a bit worries about my ball security but I managed to hold on to it.”
