Taylor admitted he was disappointed in himself after the 24-16 loss to the Panthers last weekend and has made a commitment to do everything he can to improve ahead of what is a must win match on Sunday against the Wests Tigers at Cbus Super Stadium.

“It was a bit disappointing on my behalf,” Taylor said. “I didn’t play the best and we simply have to win every game now.

“They are big shoes to fill as a youngster but we need to learn and keep moving forward.”

The Titans are four points adrift of the top eight and with the side locked on 18 competition points with three other clubs, the equation is simple.

“I need to be on my game and we need to win. It is as simple as that.”

Although out of the finals race a number of weeks ago, the 22-year-old knows the Tigers will travel north looking to salvage some pride.

“They’re going to come in firing. They’ve got a point to prove and we need to stop that. We need to play to our standard and focus on that.

“Our goal is to win this week and just look at each weeks as it comes.”
