Titans winger Anthony Don has today said that the entire squad are looking forward to the challenge on Saturday against the Dragons and knows that the entire squad has the desire to perform better after what has been a tough few weeks for the club.

Don admits that last Saturday’s match against the Broncos was embarrassing for many and that the side needs to make amends this week against the Dragons.

“It’s been a tough week but our performance last week was pretty embarrassing,” Don said. “It’s not good and we let our supporters down.

“We need to go down there (Sydney) and play well. We’re looking forward to the challenge.”

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Coach Neil Henry but the Grafton junior says the playing group are taking responsibility.

“It wasn’t him out there missing the tackles so we turn up this week and put in a better performance.

“The Dragons need a big game and we know they’ll be up for the match.”

Don was questioned about his regular inside man, Konrad Hurrell and the hole he has left in the side whilst being out injured due to a hamstring injury.

“We have missed him (Hurrell), all of his bustling runs and it usually takes three or four defenders to bring him down as well.”
