The Aquis Gold Coast Titans last night held their annual Community Awards Night at Southport Yacht Club.
With over 100 people in attendance the night was a huge success and a chance for all of the community to come together and recognise the achievements made throughout 2017.
The awards presented on the night included:
Titans Teacher Ambassador Award
The Titans Teacher Ambassador Program aims to strengthen and flourish the relationship between local schools and the Titans. By having Titans Teacher Ambassadors in schools, the club can continue to deliver new and exciting initiatives along with the established programs that remain popular within the community.
The Aquis Titans Teacher Ambassador of the Year recognises a teacher who goes above and beyond their call of duty to promote their local NRL club, the positive impact the Titans make in the community and help develop grassroots rugby league.

Touch Football Specialised
Touch Football Specialised (TFS) and the Gold Coast Titans started their partnerships two years ago.
TFS is an Australian charity which provides opportunities for individuals with intellectual impairments to participate in a modified version of Rugby League/Touch Football.
TFS fosters partnerships between professional organisations, post school agencies, businesses and governments to provide meaningful and ongoing engagement opportunities and programs for individuals with intellectual impairments.

Aquis ‘Sportsperson of the Year’
The Aquis Sports Person & Volunteer of the Year Awards have been created to recognise and reward those at the heart of the rugby league.
To encourage those who put in countless time and effort to ensure the grass roots of the game continues to thrive season after season. They are awards to show our sincere appreciation of the people who dedicate a large portion of their life nurturing ‘the greatest game of all.’
