Aquis Gold Coast Titans players Ryan James, Nathan Peats and Tyrone Roberts will all go under the knife this week to repair injuries that have hampered their 2017 season.

Although missing last week due to a shoulder issue, James will actually have ankle surgery, cleaning up that area that has been a concern for the back half of the year.

“We’ve known that he would require a clean-up but he was able to manage it week to week,” Head Physio Greg Condon said.

Hooker Nathan Peats suffered his second dislocated shoulder of the season last weekend and will have the best part of a shoulder reconstruction today.

"He's aggrivated that shoulder and we'll pull the pin on that now. He should be out training with the guys in three months."

Five-eighth Tyrone Roberts is another player who has carried a shoulder concern for the entire back end of the season and with the pain continuing, it was decided that he would have the operation now.

"Similar to Nathan but a lower-level reconstruction, just a clean-up and get rid of a bit of debris in there."
