He took out the Members 'MVP' Award but centre Konrad Hurrell also walked away with 'The Preston' Community Award last week.

Club legend Preston Campbell was on hand to present the award and Hurrell admitted that he actually believes he gets more out of it then the children and sponsors.

"It (Titans) is a strong club and one that loves to give back to the community," Hurrell said. "It's all about the kids and the sponors, I love that.

"I think that's why we love it. I remember being a young kid back in Tonga and when we saw a local star player it was amazing.

"I always put myself in their shoes and know how much fun they would be having being around their idols."

The Tongan international is also in line for the NRL's Ken Stephen Medal after he was nominated for the work he does across the whole game.

"I have to thank Renee (Community Manager, Renee Cohen) for all the work that you do. It is a lot to get it all organised."
