His 2017 season was crippled by injury but Dan Sarginson is committed to return bigger and better in 2018.
Sarginson arrived pre-Christmas and was unfortunately struck down by a knee injury in just his second week of training, keeping him sidelined until just before season kick-off. Then after just five games at the top level, the Englishman suffered a dislocated shoulder, ending his season, with a full reconstruction required.
"I came over early and was keen to make an impression and I just had a disappointing run with injury," Sarginson said. "I've just received the all clear now from the surgeon so I'll be able to rip in from the start of pre-season."
"I can't wait to get back and write a few wrongs. I want to earn my spot in the centres, earn that respect and push for it."
Sarginson is contracted until the end of the 2018 season and will look to one man for inspiration through the pre-season, in the hope of taking his fitness to the next level.
"Peatsy is someone I'll be looking to keep up with. If you can get to his physical level, then you'll be headed in the right direction."
