By his own admission the 2017 season wasn't his best, but Jarryd Hayne had many factors go against him this year.
Hayne made 17 appearances in 2017 with an ankle injury suffered in Round 2 of the season putting a real hinderance on the remainder of his year. It was thought the 29-year-old would require surgery but he battled on, as a number of his team-mates suffered season ending injuries around him.
The Cabramatta junior crossed for eight tries during the year and came up with five try-assists, during what was a tough year for the club across the board.
Hayne was selected by Laurie Daley in all three State of Origin matches and will also represent Fiji at the World Cup.
Hayne's 2017 stats:
|Run Metres (avg)||106.4|
|Run Metres (total)||1809|
|Try Assists (avg)||0.3|
|Try Assists (total)||5|
