The Titans today took it easy with Coach Garth Brennan changing training from what was to be a physical session, to a laid-back surf lesson.

One thing is for certain, there will be no Titans players joining the world surfing tour anytime soon. Kane Elgey, Karl Lawton and Mitch Rein showed some promise in the choppy consitions offered up at Greenmount Beach this morning.

Forward Morgan Boyle was just happy to have an easy session.

"It's a bit of a down week so it's been quite a relaxing morning," Boyle said.

"A few of the boys were surprised, we thought we were coming down here for a tough beach session."

Thanks to the team at Walkin' on Water Surf School team at Coolangatta for having the squad along.
