The Gold Coast Titans and the Western Mustangs relationship is progressing well with our newly established Titans Academy in Toowoomba now part of our Titans Pathways.
Twelve young talented Western Mustang players have been nominated by Mustangs officials to participate in the Titans Academy held in Toowoomba with monthly sessions being provided by Elite Player Development Manager Jamie McCormack and his Pathway staff.
Also, as a reward the selected Mustang players have been coming down to the Gold Coast to participate in Titans Rookie training sessions. This opportunity to train alongside of our current contracted players has been very beneficial for both the players and our staff to see how well the Western boys are progressing.
With our Pathway programs being able to expand into the Western area of QLD our club see’s the link as very positive and we will be working very hard to identify the next Ash Taylor.
