With no NYC in 2018 and beyond the Gold Coast Titans have replaced their NYC program with a Titans Rookie squad in order to fast track their contracted players physical and skill development.
The rookie squad has just completed their 11-week pre-season program consisting of three Titans sessions per week and one session with their allocated feeder club.
All Titans players have been split evenly between both Titans feeder clubs the Burleigh Bears and Tweed Seagulls.
Players will train between both their feeder club and their Rookie Squad during the season with the Titans emphasis being individual improvement and the possibility to move into higher grades throughout the year.
The squad consists of all current contracted players between the ages of 17 to 20 years.
