Three Titans charged by NRL MRC

Three Titans have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee this morning after incidents in the loss to the Dragons yesterday, in Toowoomba.

Prop forward Ryan James was charged with ‘Dangerous Contact – Other’ on Ben Hunt in the 46th minute. The charge carries 90 points with the Captain available to play next Sunday against the Broncos, if he elects to take the early guilty plea.

Halfback Ash Taylor can escape with a $1,100 fine after being charged with ‘tripping’ in the 51st minute on Dragons five-eighth Gareth Widdop.

Young prop Keegan Hipgrave could possibly miss a week with a prior offence pushing him over the one week mark. Hipgrave has been charged with ‘Dangerous Contact – Head/Neck’ that carries 90 points for the early plea but the Nerang junior has 45 points be added.

The club has until 12noon tomorrow (Tuesday) to enter the plea.
