King & Matthews return to tackle Broncos

TFH Gold Coast Titans forwards Max King and Will Matthews return to the side this Sunday for the match against the Brisbane Broncos, at Suncorp Stadium.

Matthews missed last week’s fixture due to a cork but comes straight back into the side, starting in the back row. Captain Ryan James shifts into the front row, with Jai Arrow moving to lock. Bryce Cartwright moves on to the interchange bench, alongside Max King who was rested from the Round 3 match.

Prop Jarrod Wallace knows that the performance last week was not up to standard and will look to improve this week.

“The local derby is always good so we’ll look to raise the spirits this week and get ready for the contest,” Wallace said. “We know we need to be better and that’s what we’ll be.”
