Coach Garth Brennan stressed after the loss to the Sharks that the side needed to focus more on all of the one percenters and club debutant Brendan Elliot agrees with the comments.
Elliot made his first appearance as a Titans on Saturday night in the wash-up knows exactly what the side need to work on this week at training.
"We'll focus on the fundamentals," the local junior said. "It's holding the ball, passing the ball and catching the ball.
"It's definitely the errors that we need to get out of our game going into next week (against the Raiders)."
The side will be confident heading to the nation's capital after the stunning come from behind victory in Round 1 but Elliot knows they'll be looking for a bit of revenge.
"That was Round 1 and they had a win last week so they'll have a bit of confidence. We've done our review and are ready to move forward.
"We know they'll look to roll forward through the big fellas in the middle but we need to focus on ourselves and as I said, get those fundamentals right."
In the post-match press conference Brennan discussed how impressed he was with the defence and although only having played just the one game, hopes he can be part of the side in the coming weeks.
"We've definitely stepped it up (the defence) from previous weeks. It's really been a focus and it needs to continue."
The Titans play the Raiders on Saturday, 5 May at 3pm at GIO Stadium, Canberra.
