Forward Keegan Hipgrave has spoken for the first time since re-signing with the Titans for the next two years.
Hipgrave did have a lot of interest from other clubs but believes the Gold Coast is the place for him.
"I'm stoked to be staying on the Coast," Hipgrave said. "It was a matter of just working through the process with Garth and the committee.
"My heart's always been with the Titans. I'd be lying if I didn't think about the other offers but home is where the heart is.
"I just enjoy the Gold Coast too much, I don't think I could leave."
Coach Garth Brennan labelled Hipgrave a 'loose cannon' last week but the Nerang junior would like to be known as something a little different.
"I like to bring the aggression to the side. Maybe (I'd like to be known as) a controlled loose cannon. It's about knowing when to do it and when to stay in the zone."
