The Gold Coast Titans are helping to prevent the cycle of violence against women by raising funds and awareness through wearing White Ribbon socks for the Women In League round against the Penrith Panthers, this Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium.
For the past five years, the Titans have proudly supported White Ribbon through many community initiatives and fundraising opportunities including the following;
• Charity Ball last year donating the single largest donation of $24,000 through Queensland White Ribbon.
• Players working with White Ribbon on the school program 'Breaking the Silence'
• Working with local community groups at White Ribbon Day every November
• Forming part of the Gold Coast – Tweed White Ribbon Committee
• Part of the Stand Up against Domestic Violence paddle board event held every year at Currumbin Creek
The Titans are the first ever national sporting to wear the White Ribbon socks at an elite level competition.
The donate towards White Ribbon and be a part of the 50-50 Charity Raffle online sales are now live via - http://5050charityraffle.com.au/titans.
