Whilst week one finished with a bit of fun on the golf course, week two certainly didn't end that way, with a gruelling conditioning session in the Gold Coast sun.

The week started in similar fashion to the way it finished with fitness and skills taking place at the High Performance Centre in Parkwood. Weights sessions followed up the field work with Head of Performance, Dan Ferris, putting the group to the test.

Tuesday's session saw Head Coach Garth Brennan and his assistants work the group through a skills session, working on the fundamentals and bringing all the new recruits up to speed with the club's plays.

Wednesday may have seemed like an easy beach session down at Currumbin but the players were put through a tough sand tackle technique session and swimming in surf conditions. The session may have been short, but it was intense.

Thursday and Friday were spent at the High Performance Centre with two tough days of training and some marketing shots being taken for use throughout the next few months.

Week two is done and dusted but everyone will be back on Monday to do it all again.
