Week three finished with a gruelling outdoor conditioning session under the punishing Gold Coast sun, and if you thought the following week would be any different, you thought wrong.
This week picked up where last week left off, an intense conditioning session in the sweltering heat had the team puffing early. They then hit the gym as a group to finish the day strong. Tuesday saw the team out on the field again, this time focusing on their technical skills and ball work also followed by a session in the gym.
Continuing the focus on technique and skills, the team was put through an intensive session on Wednesday focusing on tackle technique as we look to be recognised as a defensive force this season. Wednesday also saw a number of players complete their white card qualification in preparation life after football. The team clearly had not had enough of the gym as they were pushed to the limit with another weight session on Thursday.
Lo and behold, Friday saw the team finish the week with yet another condition session in heat that can only be described as unbearable. The team finished strong as they head to the gym for one final session to round out the week. Despite the unforgiving conditions, each and every player pushed themselves to the absolute limit as they look to charge into the upcoming season guns blazing.
