Titans back-rower Kevin Proctor could be sidelined for up to a month after playing 53 minutes of yesterday’s win over the Broncos with a fractured left eye socket.

Proctor suffered the injury while making a tackle on Brisbane forward Thomas Flegler in the Gold Coast’s 26-18 victory at Suncorp Stadium.

The injury is double blow for the 30-year-old Kiwi international, who will not only miss the Gold Coast’s home clash against the New Zealand Warriors at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday night, but also the Kiwis’ Test match against Tonga on 22 June.

Proctor is now aiming for a return with the Titans in their Round 15 clash against the Sea Eagles at Cbus Super Stadium on 29 June, but will need to pass a fitness test before getting a clearance to play.
