Gold Coast forward Max King has today officially been released by the Titans to take up an opportunity with the Melbourne Storm.
King’s move is effective immediately, with the 22-year-old relocating to Melbourne. He will be available for selection with the Storm after the representative round lay-off.
The Maitland junior played NYC for the Titans before making his NRL debut in Round 3 of 2017 against the Parramatta Eels.
After his debut, King went on to play 38 games for Gold Coast over the three seasons in the top grade.
“Max is a quality human being who will definitely be missed around our club,” Titans coach Garth Brennan said.
“He was presented an opportunity and with an extension, which was something that couldn’t be guaranteed here at the Titans.
“I know I speak on behalf of everyone here in wishing Max all the best for the future.”
