Newly appointed Assistant Coach Jimmy Lenihan has spent the last seven weeks living a dream in a full-time role and is extremely impressed with the progression over the opening training period.

Lenihan joined the club for the start of 2019 under a new look staff headed up by Justin Holbrook and the rugby league lover is certainly enjoying coming to work every day.

“I love it,” Lenihan said.

“More than I expected actually and I really can’t wait for the year (2020) to get going.”

Proctor Keen to Work Hard Towards 2020

A pre-season camp rounds out the first block of training and all the staff are happy with the development across the squad.

“Things are progressing nicely. We weren’t in a position to do too much, too early.

“We’ve been working hard on our defensive strategy and building on that.

“We’re really tracking well and we’re working out who we are as a side. We’re putting a lot of emphasis on that.”
