New recruit Beau Fermor has completed his first day as a Titan and is absolutely “stoked” to be here.

The 21-year-old signed with the Club last week and had his first day at Parkwood today, taking part in a gym and field session.

On the mend after suffering an ACL rupture mid-way through 2019, the Dalby product is looking at an early-season return to the playing field.

Fermor met with Titans Head Coach Justin Holbrook and Head of Performance and Culture Mal Meninga a few weeks back and enjoyed what the Club has to offer, as well as the opportunity to move back closer to family.

“It wasn’t that I wanted to leave Newcastle, but the Gold Coast was an opportunity for me to further my development and also to be closer to family,” he said.

“I think there is an opportunity to get into first grade here and if given the chance, hopefully I can stay there.

“I’m stoked that the Titans were happy to have me and my partner up here, and I think it’ll be really good.”

Fermor grew up in Dalby before moving to the Sunshine Coast to be part of the Melbourne Storm’s NYC program.

After two years there, he moved to the Knights where he had one year in the under-20s and then one year in Canterbury Cup.
