New-Look Titans To Take On Cowboys In Townsville

It will be a fresh start and a fresh look for the Gold Coast Titans in their season re-starter against North Queensland in Townsville on Friday, with coach Justin Holbrook today naming a new-look side for the Queensland derby game against the Cowboys.

Just over two months after their last game against Parramatta, the Titans will finally take the field again looking to get their season back on track in Townsville, with utility Erin Clark to become Titan No.153 when he makes his debut for the Club off the interchange bench against the Cowboys.

Holbrook has reshuffled his forward pack, bringing in an injection of size and intensity with Sam Lisone and Moeaki Fotuaika partnering up in the front row, and Keegan Hipgrave to play his first game in nearly a year in the backrow alongside captain Kevin Proctor.

Representative props Jarrod Wallace and Shannon Boyd will bring power and experience from the bench, joining Clark and Jai Whitbread on the interchange.

Three years after his last game for the Club, reigning Intrust Super Cup Player of the Year Jamal Fogarty will return to the NRL with the Titans at halfback, joining five-eighth Ash Taylor in a new-look halves combination.

Veteran Tyrone Roberts will bring his experience and playmaking skills to his new position at fullback, while Dale Copley and Tyrone Peachey are the new centre combination.
