The Gold Coast Titans will play in front of an increased crowd this Friday against the New Zealand Warriors after a successful return of members and fans at Cbus Super Stadium last weekend.
After successfully meeting the COVID-19 safe protocols with a crowd of 2000 against the Sharks, the Titans are now looking forward to welcoming more people back to the footy.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell says this is a huge boost for the Gold Coast.
“We’ve missed our members and fans and I know plenty of people have missed watching footy on the Gold Coast,” Mitchell said.
“The health of our members, fans, partners and players is paramount, so we will take a staged approach to our crowd increases over our next few games as we continue to put public safety first.
“The great news is that when our tickets go on sale tomorrow morning, groups of six people will be able to sit together and there are some great general public ticket options available.”
If you are travelling to the game, there will be limited parking available at the venue (local area parking restrictions will be enforced) with all Titans fans encouraged to use the public transport options or get dropped off by a friend, taxi or ride share service. There will be a park’n ride facility available from Firth Park in Mudgeeraba as well as free travel on standard rail, bus and G:Link services.
