Titans winger Phillip Sami is our player to watch in Round 14, when the Gold Coast travel to Sydney to play the Cronulla Sharks.
Sami finished off the Titans strong win over North Queensland last weekend, diving over to score his fifth try of the season.
While looking to ignite the Titans attack, Sami will also have a big job in defence against Cronulla with a matchup against the NRL’s leading try-scorer Sione Katoa.
Lining up inside Sami at centre, Dale Copley says the Titans right side defence has been improving every week.
“As an edge player, the more you can play with the people around you the more connection you gain and you feel a lot more comfortable out there,” Copley said.
“The more that us four can stay together on that right edge I think we will only get better.
“Hopefully us four can stay together for the rest of the year and we can continue improving and putting together some good performances.”
The Titans play the Sharks at 3pm on Saturday with the game held at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Sydney.
