The Gold Coast Titans have been hit hard in recent weeks on the injury and suspension front and the Round 15 match against the Raiders was another physical affair.

Titans Head of Performance Dan Ferris has provided an update on key players returning and those that copped a ‘knock’ against the Raiders.

Injured duo Dale Copley and Jai Arrow had mixed results after visits to the Doctor, with Copley’s season now over and requiring surgery, while Jai Arrow should be back in a couple of weeks once he can get some strength back in his injured shoulder (AC Joint).

Nathan Peats is a new player to join the casualty ward after picking up a calf strain throughout the Raiders match.

“He played really well in the first half. Unfortunately the half time break got to him a little bit, so he has sustained a mild strain and will miss one week.” Ferris said

On the other possible injuries out of the game, Ferris commented.

“Jimmy (Jolliffe) passed his HIA, which is really pleasing.

“Jamal (Fogarty) got a knee to the ribs but he was back training today, which is good and Keegen (Hipgrave) got that ankle ligament damage, which he just unfortunately twisted during the game but he will be ready to go.”
