Key Matchup: Battle of the Big Boys - MOE v HAAS

On show:  Moeaki Fotuaika and Payne Haas.

Titans v Broncos - Get tickets

The two are old schoolmates, having both spent their teenage years on the Gold Coast at Keebra Park High School.

20-year-old Fotuaika is the reigning Paul Broughton Medallists, voted last season as the Titans best player.

After returning from suspension off the bench for last week’s win against the Bulldogs, the prop was injected into the game early after an injury to Jaimin Jolliffe.

Fotuaika starred for the Titans, running over 200 metres and notching 25 tackles in the 18 points to 14 win.

After debuting in 2018, Fotuaika continues to improve and is averaging 12.6 hitups in 2020, with an average of 142 running metres.

Haas is also just 20-years-old and made his State of Origin debut in 2019 for New South Wales and has continued his strong form through 2020.

The 194cm, 119kg front rower has 55 tackle breaks this season and 24 offloads to highlight his threats, while also adding 16 hit-ups per game to lead the Broncos pack.

While they are two of the youngest players on the field, Fotuaika and Haas are two of the most important and both will play a huge role in the success of their sides this weekend.
