Jarrod Wallace has been stuck in the NRL's isolation bubble for majority of the season, so being able to spend time with his father, Craig, has been hard to come by.
So, when Jarrod heard the Club would be thanking his father for his efforts this year, he jumped at the chance to be the one to deliver the news.
Craig has been instrumental in running the Gold Coast Titans Physical Disability Rugby League (PDRL) and Intellectual Disability Rugby League (IDRL) programs over the last two years and is head coach of the PDRL side. More info
This year has been stop start for many across all levels of sport, but it hasn't stopped Craig leading the way for his team and regularly checking in to keep their spirits high while there was no training or games.
Titans v Knights - Get Tickets
This week is “Thank You Round” for the Titans and it allows the club to thank fans, members, partners and the wider Gold Coast community for their support through a season like no other.
Craig Wallace is certainly deserving of thanks and to get his son, Jarrod, to deliver it on behalf of the club made the moment that little bit more special.
