Titans players enjoy first weekend free from 'bubble'

Gold Coast Titans players enjoyed their first weekend of 'freedom' from the NRL Apollo protocols, with many taking the chance to head to the beach or even just enjoy a coffee for the first time in months.

Under the Queensland Government regulations, Titans players had to isolate for two weeks after their final match against Newcastle as they had played a Sydney-based team, while the Cowboys and Broncos players were able to be out a week earlier after playing each other in the final round.

Titans players were excited for some of the basics that they haven't been able to enjoy in recent months,

Jai Arrow, Kevin Proctor and Sam Lisone enjoyed the sunshine of Burleigh and a meal.
