After earning themselves a week off via victory in their first semi-final, Tino's Storm are in the box seat as they play at their 'home' ground, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
The Canberra Raiders pack has been impressive all season, led by Josh Papalii who is likely to be a teammate of Fa'asuamaleaui in the end of season State of Origin series.
Fa'asuamaleaui will resume his role off the bench, where he has been so effective all season.
In the first semi-final against the Parramatta Eels Fa'asuamaleaui played 33 minutes off the bench forming an impactful interchange duo with the dynamic Brandon Smith.
In his short stint Fa'asuamaleaui managed to knock out 104 run metres and show some of what has got Titans fans excited about his arrival in 2021.
Finals Week 3
Future Titan: Tino Fa'asuamaleaui
Melbourne Storm v Canberra Raiders
Friday 16 October, 6:50PM (Qld time) | Suncorp Stadium
Canberra went some way to vanquishing last year's grand final pain by exacting playoff revenge on the Roosters, but now Melbourne are blocking their path to consecutive appearances in the season decider.
Melbourne haven't lost in Queensland for 19 matches, so Canberra are faced with a stiff task at Suncorp Stadium. However, Ricky Stuart's troops have proven time and again they thrive under adversity.
These teams have fought out some terrific games in recent times, not least in week one of the finals in 2019 when Canberra held on for a 12-10 victory at the Storm's AAMI Park fortress.
There may not be any current Titans playing in the finals, but many fans will watch (and cheer) on with interest to see a glimpse of what 2021 has in store on the Gold Coast.
