NAIDOC Community Day to be hosted at Cbus Super Stadium

The Gold Coast Titans annual NAIDOC Community Day will be taking place at Cbus Super Stadium this Thursday afternoon (12 November).

Run in conjunction with Deadly Choices and Kalwun Health Services, the event which is usually held in July was, like many events, postponed in 2020.

The delay won't dampen the spirits of those in attendance this Thursday though with musical and dance performances, traditional food, art and crafts, kids activities and information stalls all in action across the day.

And it is all FREE. More Info here.

Simply arrive at Cbus Super Stadium, the home of the Titans, between 3pm and 7pm on Thursday to be a part of the festivities.

In 2020 the NAIDOC Week theme is 'always was, always will be.' It recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for our continent for over 65,000 years.

2019 NAIDOC Week Celebrations

NAIDOC Week celebrations are being held across Australia to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples but the Cbus event is one of only a few on the Gold Coast.

Enjoy this free cultural event and celebrate the proud Indigenous history within the Gold Coast Community.

With plenty of family-friendly activities, including food vans! There will be something for everyone.
