Titans senior group hit training paddock early for 2021

They were meant to spend another week basking in the Gold Coast sunshine, but a core group of Titans senior players have started their preparation for season 2021 early.

Senior players Anthony Don, Mitch Rein, Sam Lisone, Jonus Pearson and Jarrod Wallace all officially hit the training paddock yesterday in preparation for next season.

The group were meant to have another week, but due to the changed schedule this season due to COVID-19 their return date was much later than usual, but riding high on the end of last season the group was keen to get stuck in early.

Also joining them for his first day was new recruit Herman Ese'ese.

The former Newcastle Knights player enjoyed his first session in Titans colours and along with the other senior players has high aspirations for next year.

"With how the boys finished last season, I think we're going to expect big things.  I know myself and the boys will be definitely excited to take on the challenge next year and definitely top four or top eight is our goal." Ese'ese said.

The group will be joined by Kevin Proctor from Thursday, while the State of Origin players and new recruit Tino Fa'asuamaleuai will return in the new year after a well earned break.
