Home Opener - Brisbane Broncos (Round 2)
It is no doubt the game all Titans fans have circled in their 2021 calendars already. The Local Derby went the way of the Titans twice last year and the Broncos will be gunning for revenge under new coach Kevin Walters come round 2 at Cbus Super Stadium. Haas v Fa'asuamaleuai, Dearden v Fogarty, Fotuaika v Carrigan, Kelly v Staggs - the matchups are endless and none more mouth-watering then battle of the big boys up front, so will it make your top four?
The big Sydney clubs
On the back of a bumper finish to season 2020 the Titans will be hosting big Sydney clubs the Sydney Roosters (Round 14) and South Sydney Rabbitohs (Round 7) for the first time in a number of years + they will face the improving Parramatta Eels, Grand Finalists Penrith Panthers (Round 10) and the Trent Barrett-led Canterbury Bulldogs (Round 11). How many will make the cut?
Nobody likes Manly...
It may be true, but with a 4pm Sunday afternoon kick-off in Round 15, some Gold Coast sunshine may be just what you and the family need in the middle of June! After the Titans put the Sea Eagles to the sword in 2020 the Trbojevic brothers will be fired up to make amends. But, do Manly make your top 4?
Knights, Raiders and Storm
Fellow one-team towns Newcastle Knights (Round 4), Canberra Raiders (Round 5) and the Storm have some of the most passionate fans in the league and there is no shortage of 'away' support when they come to the coast. The Premiership winning Melbourne Storm (Round 23) will be the Titans first ever home Thursday night game and the unique event will see Cam Munster (and maybe Cam Smith??) come to town. Do Cam and co make your big 4?
The other Queensland Derby
There is no love lost in the battle for Queensland domination and the now Todd Payten-led North Queensland Cowboys (Round 21) will be looking to bounce back in 2021 and claim the mantle of Queensland's number one team. Have you got room to squeeze in the men from the north?
Warriors in the sunshine
The Titans will open season 2021 in New Zealand against the Warriors and then close the regular season at home (Cbus Super Stadium) in Round 25 against the men from across the ditch. There is never a shortage of Warriors fans on the Gold Coast and a 2pm Sunday kick-off is sure to bring a big crowd for the final game of the regular season. So, do the Warriors make the cut?
With an abundance of timeslots to suit everyone and mouth watering matchups, 2021 is shaping up to be one of the best seasons of Rugby League on the Gold Coast and the best way to be there is by joining the Legion and becoming a Member.
