SEE Civil in collaboration with its complementary partners within the Tras4m Rail Joint Venture, have recently been announced as the winners for the construction of a 171km major rail infrastructure project from Narrabri to North Star in regional New South Wales.

“What it means for us is a complete game changer,” says Josh Yates, See Civil’s Project Bid Manager.

“As a family business that has been on the coast for 32 years and growing in stature in terms of sheer numbers, this is what we call in our industry a tier one project.

“It’s nation building and something that people are probably going to talk about for 50-90 years afterwards.”

Joining the Titans as a partner for the 2019 season, Yates says SEE Civil are seeing the benefits from the partnership with the NRL Club.

“We’re really enjoying the experience working with the Titans, especially the Mal Meninga team building day,” Yates said.

“What it taught us is teamwork is imperative to win these projects and I can honestly say without each individual doing their role to the best of their ability we wouldn’t have won this project.”

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell says this Club both congratulates and celebrates with SEE Civil on winning such a major project.

“Like anything in life when one of your partners are successful and they can get a project the size of this is just an extraordinary outcome for them,” Mitchell said.

“We’re super excited for SEE Civil, but we’re also excited for us because success is contagious.”
