As the Titans head into the Christmas break, Gold Coast Coach Justin Holbrook says the team is in good shape with the players in rehab to re-join the group in January.

David Fifita will be the first to re-join the main group, with a few other key players to follow at the start of 2021.

"Dave is nearly out of the rehab group," said Holbrook.

"Patrick Herbert is another who will hopefully be right after the break."

Five-eighth Ash Taylor is still a few weeks away, but Holbrook says the Coaches are happy with how he is progressing.

"Ash has come off both hip and wrist surgery, so he is still a bit off," Holbrook said.

"AJ (Brimson) is still a little bit off as well, we will get him back towards the end of January (on the way back from a foot injury).

"Ash will hopefully be a little bit earlier."

Tino will join us in the new year and once we come back after the break we will have everybody all starting at the same time and continuing.

"We really need a good January and February as a team focus before the season starts because we haven't had the opportunity up until now.
