If you watch Titans training in 2021, don't be surprised to see David Fifita standing close to fellow second-rower Kevin Proctor.

The 20-year-old has already played State of Origin football for Queensland, but says his game can develop even further as he learns off 31-year-old Proctor.

"He is a kiwi international and a really experienced player and he has been really good with me," Fifita said.

"He gives me good feedback and good information.

"When I was at the Broncos it was Alex Glenn, another kiwi international, but now it is KP and I look forward to working with him into the future."

David Fifita has been working hard in pre-season.

Fifita says he's now building combinations with his new team-mates, having started his time as a Titan in the rehab group.

"I've graduated from the rehab group slowly.

"The staff there looked after me really well with my ankle and knee and it is all going well.

"It's been good so far and I'm really enjoying it.

"I'm doing the speed and the contact, but I'm still a bit lighter on the contact side.

"I just need to keep training hard and getting to know the boys.

"I've been learning my combinations with the guys I'm not familiar with

"I've got Tanah (Boyd) there helping me out and Jamal (Fogarty) is a good talker and KP (Kevin Proctor) is giving me information for the back-rowers so it's been good.

"Beau (Fermor), Sam Stone and especially KP (have been great as well).

"I knew a few of the lads here already before I made my decision to come down.

"Corey Thompson (is another), he has been really welcoming to me at the club and his presence at the Club and how funny he is - he is a good mate."
