"I just want to hope that they have come in good condition. Holbrook said

"From the performance staff, they work really hard pre-Christmas to get them in a good spot."

Nearly all players will be back on deck from tomorrow with the only player with a late return date being Tino Fa'asuamaleaui.

After a big year with the Melbourne Storm and Queensland Maroons where he won a premiership and State of Origin series, the forward was given some extra time away.

Fa'asuamaleaui did make an appearance for the final two days of pre-season prior to Christmas and his new coach is looking forward to having him on deck full time.

"I just cant wait to have him included.

"Everything that he brings as a player but also the amount of people I have spoken to on how good a person he is.

"It is such a great coup for our club to have him join us." Holbrook said.

With Round 1 only just over two months away Holbrook can see it coming close and that has he and the rest of the squad excited.

"We are all excited about next season and the fact that it is close now makes it even better, so I look forward to it kicking off." Holbrook said.
