The Gold Coast Titans JTS (Junior Titans System) teams travelled to Coffs Harbour last weekend to take on the Newcastle Knights.
The boys under 17s and under 19s were for the first time joined by the women's under 19s side to take on the Knights.
Titans Elite Player Development Manager, Jamie McCormack said the match played an important role in the overall development and training program of the elite Titans juniors.
"It is part of our JTS program whereby we try and give the guys a full pre-season from November through to the end of January and then culminate with the competitive game against the Newcastle Knights. McCormack said.
"Our under 17s are a really talented bunch of boys and predominantly local Gold Coast boys and went on to win 32-20.
"The Under 19s were exceptional and we were really pleased with the way they performed - they were very clinical.
"We have got some players that have been with us for over four years now in the JTS programs and we are starting to see now the culmination of what they can do and they are an age bracket now that can start to force their way into the NRL opportunities.
"They ran out winners 40-6 so they were very dominant against the Newcastle Knights, which is their SG Ball squad that will play in the New South Wales competition so, we are very proud of the boys."
Many of the boys will be hoping to emulate current Titans heroes such as AJ Brimson, Moeaki Fotuaika and Phil Sami who all came through the Titans JTS programs.
"We have got a number of boys that are following the same path and hopefully in a few years our supporters will see the fruition of our JTS program."
The boys weren't the only ones to represent the club with distinction, with the Titans womens Under 19s JTS team also doing battle with the Knights.
Although they didn't win the match, it is a great step forward for women's rugby league and the Titans to get the team on the pitch.
"How exciting for the Club, the inaugural first ever NRL trial for our under 19 ladies squad.
"Unfortunately they went down against a pretty high quality Newcastle under 19 female side, but the quality of football was good, so we are looking forward to some really good things from those girls and one day if we have got an NRLW side, some of the girls that played on Saturday will be make their (NRLW) debut in our colours.
