Titans COVID Update

The Gold Coast Titans round four clash against the Canberra Raiders will be moved interstate.

To not be able to play in front of our expanding body of beloved Members, fans and corporate partners on the Gold Coast is disappointing, as the energy and enthusiasm you bring to our games helps drive our team.

In saying that, we support the NRL’s decision to move the game.

While the Queensland Premier announced encouraging news today, with the uncertainty that still exists, the NRL has made the decision to move both Easter Saturday games to Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Sydney.

After back-to-back wins, our team is prepared for a strong showing against the Raiders.  While we will miss seeing you in person at Cbus Super Stadium this week, whether you’re in front of your TV, listening on the radio or commenting via the Titans social media channels – our players will still see and hear you.  You can still have a huge impact.

The health and safety of our community on the Coast, our Members, fans, corporate partners and our playing group and staff remains paramount.

The Club will be in touch with all Members in the coming hours and Ticketek will communicate with anyone who holds a ticket for the game.

Any decision on future games on the Gold Coast will be made in due course pending government and NRL advice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why are the team being re-located?

The rapidly evolving situation in South East Queensland creates significant uncertainty for the Gold Coast Titans playing squad, coaching and support staff and those of visiting teams. Interstate Border restrictions and bio-security protocols render the playing of any NRL matches on the Gold Coast untenable at this time and the Gold Coast Titans need to do whatever is necessary to ensure the 2021 NRL Telstra Premiership competition continues, as the New Zealand Warriors did in 2020 and continue to do now.

I am a season ticket Member of the Gold Coast Titans.  What impact does this have on my Club Membership?

The club has developed a Membership Compensation policy, which can be found here.

I am a reduced access Member of the Gold Coast Titans and have redeemed tickets for the Round 4 home match against the Canberra Raiders.  What impact does this have on my Club Membership?

The ticket you have redeemed has been cancelled and the ticketing entitlement restored to your Membership account.  At this point, we are confident that club home games will return Cbus Super Stadium in 2021, where you will be able to redeem your ticketing entitlement. The club has developed a Membership Compensation policy, which can be found here.

I am not a Member of the Gold Coast Titans, but have purchased a ticket to the Round 4 match against the Canberra Raiders.  What happens to my ticket?

All non-member ticket purchasers will receive a full refund. The club’s ticketing partner – Ticketek – will be in contact with all (non-member) ticket purchasers soon to outline next steps.

I have purchased Corporate Hospitality for the Round 4 match against the Canberra Raiders. What happens with my ticket?

The Gold Coast Titans Corporate Hospitality team will be in contact with all ticket holders in the coming days to work through the implications of the match having been relocated.

Are any of the other Gold Coast Titans 2021 home games impacted?

At this stage no, although the situation is evolving rapidly which could impact future matches.  The club will communicate any other changes to our 2021 home fixture as they come to light.

I am an interstate Member and would like to attend the Gold Coast Titans v Canberra Raiders match at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, am I able to get tickets?

The club will use best endeavors to provide Club Members with eligible ticketing entitlements the opportunity to attend.  Details of this are still to be confirmed but will be communicated the moment they come to hand.

I am not a Member, but am interested in purchasing tickets to the Gold Coast Titans v Canberra Raiders match at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.  Can I do this?
