In Round 7, the game will have the opportunity to honour and commemorate the generations of Australian servicemen and women who have defended our values and freedoms, in wars, conflicts and peace operations.

The Gold Coast Titans will take on South Sydney at Cbus Super Stadium as part of the NRL's ANZAC Round.

Both Clubs will wear special jerseys that will acknowledge the centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force.

The Titans will also play for the Cameron Baird VC MG Trophy, with the player who shows the characteristics of Corporal Baird to win the individual award.

Corporal Baird was a member of the Special Operations Task Group and was from the 2nd Commando Regiment based at Holsworthy Barracks in Sydney, New South Wales. Corporal Baird, 32, was shot dead during a battle to take an insurgent-held compound in the village of Ghawchak, in Afghanistan’s Khod Valley, on June 22 2013.

As part of the lead up to the NRL's Anzac Round, all clubs have joined together to pay their respects to both current and past serving members for the work they've done both at home and abroad for over a century.
