Tanah Boyd will suit up for the Titans on Saturday when they take on the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium, after Ash Taylor was ruled out due to injury.
Titans Coach, Justin Holbrook confirmed that Taylor was struggling with injury after off-season surgery on both of his hips and his wrist.
“Ash is struggling with injury,” Holbrook said.
“He’s done the right thing for us and stuck his hand up (to play).
"He will do that again, but it’s about us telling him to get himself right."
Taylor's injury gives Tanah Boyd another shot at the five-eighth spot and a chance to re-unite with fellow Keebra Park alumni David Fifita.
Boyd played in the Titans matches against the Cowboys and Raiders, when Taylor was injured and showed some nice touches as the left-edge of the Titans cut the Cowboys open in Round 3.
Having played their junior football together, Boyd and Fifita have a good combination already, which the Titans will look to utilise as they aim to bounce back from three successive defeats.
Boyd is coming off a last start win for the Burleigh Bears where his kicking game forced three drop outs and set up a try.
