How do you sum up the Titans second half against Manly?
Asked at fulltime to do just that, Jarrod Wallace gave a blunt answer when speaking with ABC Grandstand.
"It was just absolutely crap," Wallace said.
"It was just disappointing and a shame, we worked so hard in that first half to hold and grind and get ourselves in front and then to dish that up in the second half is just unacceptable."
The Titans are continuing to build.
Their veteran forward knows that fans are riding the rollercoaster at the moment, but has urged the Legion to stick with the team for the back half of 2021.
Gold Coast will welcome back Corey Thompson, Beau Fermor and Sam Lisone from injury for their round 16 clash against the Canberra Raiders.
AJ Brimson is also a big chance of returning, which Wallace saying this will bolster the squad.
"He (Brimson) is definitely a key point in our team.
"When you've got guys like Jayden (Campbell) filling the spot, he is doing a fantastic job, I think he set up three or four tries and he's been one of our best the last three weeks.
"AJ is definitely a loss for us for sure and is such a crucial part, but Jayden has been fantastic."
The Titans return to Cbus Super Stadium in round 18 for a Friday night clash against the Parramatta Eels.
