Thou shall not pass: Fogarty's running game up against Moses

Jamal Fogarty has hit a purple patch of form and it's his running game that will again be a focus as he goes up against Parramatta's Mitchell Moses in this week's Macca's Match-up.

Fogarty, alongside halves partner Ash Taylor, had arguably his best game of 2021 in the Titans last start win over the Raiders.

The Gold Coast co-captain added 16 of the Titans 44 points in the Titans last game to go alongside 2 try assists, 3 tackle breaks and 1 line break.

The 27-year-old is averaging 69 run metres per game in 2021, but has increased those numbers in recent weeks with his running game on show.

His opposite number seven on Friday night will be Parramatta's Mitchell Moses.

The 26-year-old will be fresh off an Origin debut for New South Wales and will be looking for a strong performance at the same venue against the Titans.

Across ten games in 2021, the Eels half is averaging 68 run meters per game and 332 kick metres.

On paper, the two halfbacks have very similar statistics to this point of the season.

On Friday night, in what shapes as an important game for both sides, the two number seven's will be ken men in deciding the result.
