Bumps and bruises only as Captain looks to return

The Titans enter the first week of the NRL finals with minimal injury concerns and the ability to welcome back an international representative to their side to take on the Roosters.

Titans High Performance Manager Klint Hoare says the great result against the Warriors in Round 25 was further boosted by a good injury report.

“We’ve come out of that game really nicely,” Hoare said.

“Like most teams we are carrying the usual bumps and bruises at this time of the year but the good new was we had no major injuries out of the Warriors game.

“We continue to monitor the workload of Moeaki Fotuaika as we manage his knee, but he will be ready to go this week.”

Titans co-captain Kevin Proctor missed the final round victory, but is expected to be available for the Titans finals campaign.

“Kevin has recovered well from his shoulder complaint and we expect him to be available this week,” Hoare said.

AJ Brimson continues his recovery from jaw surgery and will be integrated into skills work this week, with his recovery progressing as expected.
