The Titans finished the best of the Queensland teams in 2021 and it was reflected in State of Origin arena as well, where the club had four players selected for the Maroons - a club record.
Forward leaders Moeaki Fotuaika, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and David Fifita were joined by livewire fullback AJ Brimson in the maroons Origin I squad.
While all four had played Origin in previous years it was the first time they had all been together at the Titans.
In a bright sign for the future of the Titans (and Maroons), the oldest of the group is Brimson at 23 years of age.
Straight From Camp Maroon: A future in the media for AJ & Dave?
While the Maroons were beaten 2-1 by the Blues, the Titans quartet had strong series with Fotuaika undoubtedly one of Queensland's best across the whole series.
Tino Fa'asuamaleaui: I'll play fullback if they want me to
Brimson also showed his versatility and skills defending in the frontline when he muted the rampant Tom Trbojevic across a 50 minute stint in the centres in game two.
While Queensland will be looking for an improved performance in 2022, they know they have a core of their future in these four Titans young-guns.
